San Felipe sponsers a championship rowing team,. They are the Delfines de la Bahia, the Dolphins of the Bay and have won many gold, silver and bronze medals in the last three National Olympiads in Mexico. In 2006 the competitions were held in Mexico City. In 2007 they were in the Yucatan. Last year Nuevo Leon hosted the Olympiads. This year they will be held in San Felipe on May 7-9th, 2009.
